It's that time of year again... registration!

Our early registration will be held on Friday, May 8th, from 6:30-8 p.m. at the Tuscany Club in Studio D/E (returning members ONLY from 6:30-7 p.m, open registration from 7-8 p.m.).

As many sections will fill up before the fall, we strongly encourage families to attend the early registration. Early registration fees (before June 30th) are $190 for the year. In addition, our group requires three fundraising deposit cheques: $150, dated October 1, 2015, for the fall bottle drive; $200, dated November 1, 2015, for the popcorn fundraiser; and $150, dated April 1, 2016, for the spring bottle drive. Cheques can be made out to 243 Tuscany Scouts. Pre-filled forms will be distributed at registration events for current members, so you do not need to fill out a new form. One of the recurring highlights of the season is our annual Kub Kar Rally, which was held on February 27 in the Tuscany Club. The beavers build their coulorful Beaver buggies, while the cubs raced their Kub Kars. The Scouts made a Scout Truck and there was even an open category! The parents watched the races and cheered their kids on!

On April 25 we will host an area Kub Kar Race for Nose Hill West of Chinook Council, which will be held in the Foothills Alliance Church. Please stay tuned for additional information closer to the event!

On January 17 - 18, 7 Scouts and 7 Leaders dedicated their weekend to get their First Aid certification. We are glad to report that all of them passed the test, and we would like to extend a big compliment to the entire crew! The only reason to take his training is to know what to do in case of an emergency, and to be able to help others in a time of need, possibly saving your live!

This year’s Good Turn Week will be held from April 25th to May 3rd, 2015, and while that may seem a long way away, big ideas take time, and it’s time to get started. Proposals are due November 30, 2014.
